Sheffield Promoted to Senior Vice President, BSA Officer

Clearfield, PA – Michael Peduzzi, President and Chief Executive Officer of CNB Bank, has announced the promotion of Kelly Sheffield to Senior Vice President, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer.
In this role, Ms. Sheffield oversees the critically important BSA monitoring, reporting and regulatory compliance activities of the Bank, including the work of the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Fraud teams. The teams support the day-to-day operations of CNB Bank and work at protecting the Bank from activity relating to institutional or customer fraud, money laundering, or terrorist financing.

Ms. Sheffield joined CNB Bank in February 2019 and was promoted to vice president in 2020. She has over 16 years of experience in the BSA industry. Prior to joining CNB Bank, Ms. Sheffield worked within BSA/AML at KeyBank, First Niagara Bank, and HSBC Bank. She began in the industry as an AML Compliance Associate and held numerous positions in the field including AML Compliance Officer, Senior AML Compliance Officer, AML Team Leader, Quality Control Analyst, and Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) Manager.
A native of western New York, Ms. Sheffield is a graduate of Hilbert College with a Bachelor of Science degree in economic crime investigation. She maintains a specialized certification in anti-money laundering and is a current participant in the CNB Bank Leadership Institute.
