Buffalo, N.Y. – Martin Griffith, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief of Community Banking for CNB Bank, has announced the promotion of Richard “RJ” Johnson to Senior Vice President, Small Business Loan Administrator.
In this role, Mr. Johnson is responsible for implementing the Small Business Express (SBX) service across CNB Bank’s four geographic divisions, helping qualified business owners obtain quicker access to financing to meet immediate capital needs. Mr. Johnson has extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry, most recently during his two years of the SBX service.
“RJ’s expertise in small business banking has been a major contributing factor to the success of our SBX program”, said Mr. Griffith. “His leadership has helped take our small business financing services to the next level, and we are lucky to have him on the team.”
A resident of East Amherst, Mr. Johnson received his bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo and his master’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in accounting from Canisius College.
