Expansion to Serve Getzville, East Amherst Business/Consumer Markets
announced today it has taken the first steps to establish its 11th branch facility in Western New York by submitting notices to the appropriate banking regulatory agencies to establish a branch facility at 676 Hopkins Road in East Amherst, N.Y.
The notices were submitted to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the New York State Department of Financial Services and the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities.
The new branch will become BankOnBuffalo’s
11th branch since opening its first in February 2017 in downtown Buffalo’s Electric Tower. Other branches were subsequently opened in Orchard Park, Williamsville and Niagara Falls. Six more branches were added to the network with the acquisition of the Bank of Akron in July 2020.
