The newest bank in the Buffalo area, BankOnBuffalo, has received approval from three regulatory agencies to open and operate three branch offices in downtown Buffalo, Williamsville and Orchard Park, it was announced today by Martin T. Griffith, BankOnBuffalo president.
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the New York State Department of Financial Services and the Pennsylvania Department of Banking have approved BankOnBuffalo’s application to establish branches at:
            •   The Electric Tower, at 535 Washington St., in Buffalo;
            •   5190 Sheridan Drive in Williamsville;
            •   3049 Orchard Park Road in Orchard Park.
BankOnBuffalo hosted a grand opening Nov. 15 at the Electric Tower office as a preview of its services and is now operating there. The Williamsville and Orchard Park branches are expected to be fully staffed and operational by mid-Spring 2017.
“With our previously approved loan production office here and the new regulatory approvals, BankOnBuffalo is well on its way to becoming an attractive choice for area businesses to bypass needless red tape and gain the financial resources they require to grow now and in the future,” Mr. Griffith said.
BankOnBuffalo offers a decentralized, personal approach that accelerates critical financing decisions and funding for small and mid-sized businesses with up to $100 million in revenues.
Customer services include commercial lending, cash management and all other business financial needs – such as remote deposit, mobile banking, credit cards, ACH and wire services.  Private banking and wealth management services will also be offered.
