Bank’s former commercial loan production office in Victor becomes its first full-service SMART Center in the Rochester Market

VICTOR, N.Y. – BankOnBuffalo celebrated the ribbon cutting of its first full-service community office today in the Rochester area. The new office, also known as a SMART Center, is located at 235 High Street Extension in Victor. The facility had functioned as the bank’s commercial loan production office since it opened two years ago and has been home to investment advisors with the bank’s affiliate 1865 Wealth Advisors at BankOnBuffalo since April 2023.

“We’re thrilled to open BankOnBuffalo’s first community office in the Rochester area,” said Michael Noah, president of BankOnBuffalo. “For the last few years, we’ve been actively investing in the growth and development of Rochester through the loans we’ve made to businesses and real estate developers in this community. Now, we’re taking the next step by bringing the full scope of our successful community banking model to consumers and business owners in the Rochester area.”

BankOnBuffalo’s entry into the Rochester market comes just seven years after the bank opened its first Community Office in Western New York. Since that time, the bank, which is a division of CNB Bank, has grown steadily. It currently employs more than 110 people, has more than $1.0 billion in deposits and operates 13 offices in Erie, Niagara and now Monroe Counties, including an innovative, full-service mobile office – its BankOnWheels.

The bank’s new community office in Victor will be managed by Rochester native and experienced banker Michael Tetamore.

Tetamore and his team will provide the full spectrum of banking, saving, and borrowing solutions to Rochester area residents, as well as businesses of all types and sizes. They will be joined in the office by colleagues from BankOnBuffalo’s private banking team, 1865 Wealth Advisors, who will deliver investment products and services to clients looking for these alternatives.

“It’s great to be a part of the BankOnBuffalo team and to lead the bank’s first full-service branch here in Rochester,” Tetamore said. “I’m confident that the things that have made BankOnBuffalo so successful in such a short period of time will resonate with the people of this community too.”

BankOnBuffalo’s Victor office will be open Monday – Friday, 9 am until 4 pm. The on-site SMART Station – an enhanced ATM – offers extended banking hours to customers through the use of live video chat with a BankOnBuffalo banker. Customers can access the SMART Station Monday – Friday from 7 am to 7 pm and on Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm.

“At BankOnBuffalo, we are committed to meeting the financial needs of consumers and business owners in Rochester by delivering the effective solutions they’re looking for and exceptional service they deserve.” said Michael Anderson, Market Executive at BankOnBuffalo. “It’s a formula that has been very well received in Western New York, and we believe will also be well received by folks here to Rochester.”
