VICTOR, N.Y. – A ceremonial ribbon cutting today marked the opening of the 1865 Wealth Advisors at BankOnBuffalo office in the Town of Victor, NY.

The new facility, located at 235 High Street Extension, is now home to a team of investment advisors who will work with Rochester area clients to develop customized asset management strategies that meet their goals and objectives.

Led by Rochester native Paul Hurley, the 1865 Wealth Advisors at BankOnBuffalo team will provide services including trusts and estates, wealth and asset management, business investment services and personal services such as naming a power of attorney and bill paying and account reconciliation.

1865 Wealth Advisors and BankOnBuffalo are both divisions of CNB Bank.  In fact, the 1865 Wealth Advisors brand speaks to the strength and stability of CNB Bank, which was founded 158 years ago – in 1865.

We are very excited to bring the expertise and services of 1865 Wealth Advisors at BankOnBuffalo to the Rochester community,” said Marty Griffith, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer with CNB Bank.  “Our highly experienced, knowledgeable team of investment advisors will deliver solutions that enable our clients to achieve their financial goals.”

While Hurley and his team focus on delivering asset management solutions, the new 1865 Wealth Advisors at BankOnBuffalo office in Victor is also home to a well-known Rochester area banking executive, who will lead efforts to support Rochester’s businesses and real estate developers.

Rochester native Patrick Tobin, whose banking career in the area spans more than 40 years, most recently serving as New York state market president for S&T Bank, is guiding BankOnBuffalo’s commercial loan production efforts here, as the bank’s Rochester Senior Advisor.  In addition to his extensive banking experience, Tobin has also been active in real estate development, having previously held leadership positions in regional construction and senior living facilities development companies.

Through the Victor office, Tobin and his team are offering commercial lending services including loan origination, approval and closing for regional real estate development opportunities and small to middle market businesses, with a focus on privately-owned commercial and industrial/manufacturer-based businesses.

“Rochester’s development community and middle market businesses will benefit from BankOnBuffalo’s responsive, hands-on approach to commercial lending,” Tobin said. “BankOnBuffalo has a great track record of listening to local business communities and finding ways to say yes so they can achieve their goals, objectives, and dreams.”
