BankOnBuffalo opens its first branch in the Northtowns on Thursday, Nov. 16 when the new Williamsville branch office begins operations at 5190 Sheridan Drive.
“We are very excited to bring BankOnBuffalo’s special, personal approach to business and consumer banking and our full menu of financial services to Williamsville and the surrounding Northtown communities,” said Martin T. Griffith, BankOnBuffalo president. “All of these will be provided in an attractive, convenient customer setting at our Williamsville branch.”
Unlike other traditional bank branches, BankOnBuffalo’s Williamsville branch will feature its new concept banking center design aimed at making transactions and information gathering easier for bank customers. In a café-style lobby, customers will have ready access to an Internet kiosk, coffee station, open teller areas, digital signage, cash recyclers, ATM, and coin counter. Drive-up banking is also available.
Local residents will experience a celebration of the community’s natural beauty at the Williamsville branch with a floor-to-ceiling photomural as the focal point of the new lobby, along with a panorama of more than two-dozen large, color photos that visually represent much of what the Williamsville area has to offer.
Ryan Gorman, an East Amherst resident, will be BankonBuffalo’s Williamsville community office manager. He is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia and has nearly ten years of banking experience.
Services available include consumer and business deposit accounts, real estate, commercial, industrial, residential and consumer loans and lines of credit, treasury services, online banking, mobile banking, merchant credit card processing, remote deposit, accounts receivable handling, to name a few.
The Williamsville branch will be BankOnBuffalo’s third location following the opening of its initial full-service branch office in February 2017 at the Electric Tower in Downtown Buffalo. The second branch office was opened on November 2 in Orchard Park.
BankOnBuffalo’s 5,261 square-foot Williamsville branch was converted and customized from a previous regional bank branch. The architect is BHNT Architects, P.C. of Buffalo and the general contractor is BRD Construction of Buffalo.
As a community bank, BankOnBuffalo, a division of CNB Bank, is being developed by local people and businesses. This local decision-making increases the level of service provided to the communities in and around Buffalo and bring growth to the entire region.
